What happens if my campaign is not approved by Google or Meta?
If your campaign is not approved by Google or Meta, don’t worry — this can happen occasionally, and Ctrl+A helps you understand what went wrong and what to do next.
You’re never charged for unapproved campaigns
You only pay for running campaigns — meaning if your campaign isn’t approved, no media budget will be spent. Your balance remains untouched until the campaign starts delivering ads.
How Ctrl+A handles disapprovals automatically
When a campaign is disapproved, Ctrl+A automatically checks the reason provided by Google or Meta:
- If it’s a technical issue (like formatting problems, missing assets, or URL errors), our system will try to correct it automatically.
- If a fix is possible, the campaign will be rechecked and resubmitted automatically.
- If it can’t be fixed automatically, our support team will review the issue and contact you if action is needed.
When disapproval is final
If your campaign violates Google Ads or Meta Advertising Policies (e.g. restricted industries, misleading claims, prohibited products, or unsupported ad content), it cannot be approved. In these cases, Ctrl+A cannot override or appeal the platform’s decision.
We’ll still inform you about the reason for the rejection, so you can adjust your content or campaign topic if needed.
Notifications
If a campaign is not approved, you’ll be notified:
- In your Ctrl+A dashboard, under Campaigns → Status.
- By email, including a short explanation and next steps.
