Keeping your business account balance positive with top-ups
Top-ups
The Top-up section manages the available credit for your campaigns. Your credit balance is used to pay the media budget (the amount spent on ads across Google, Meta, and other platforms) plus applicable taxes and small transaction fees.
Keeping your balance sufficient ensures your campaigns continue to run without interruption.
Understanding Credit
Every Business Account holds a credit balance, which is used to pay for:
- Campaign media budgets
- Transaction fees
- Applicable taxes
Note: We believe in complete transparency. Transaction fees apply only to top-ups — never to your campaign spend.
Whenever you:
- make a manual top-up, or
- enable automatic top-ups,
you will always see the exact transaction fee amount before confirming the payment.
There are no hidden fees. Transaction fees typically range between 0% and 5%, depending on the selected payment method. Every charge is clearly displayed in your payment summary, so you always know exactly how much of your payment goes toward your available campaign credit.
You can add credit either manually or automatically using top-ups.

Manual Top-up
A manual top-up lets you add funds to your credit balance at any time.
To make a manual top-up:
- Enter the desired amount in the Manual Top-up field.
- Review the total cost (including tax and any transaction fees).
- Click Update to confirm the payment.
Manual top-ups are charged immediately using your default payment method.
They are useful for one-time credit additions but require you to monitor your balance regularly.

Auto Top-up (Recommended)
Auto top-ups help ensure your campaigns never stop due to insufficient balance. Once enabled, the system automatically recharges your credit when needed.
How Auto Top-up Works
- The system maintains enough balance to cover 7 days of combined daily campaign budgets.
- When your balance falls below 3 days of combined budgets, an automatic top-up is triggered.
- If the auto top-up fails or is disabled and your balance runs out, active campaigns will be paused automatically.
This automation ensures uninterrupted campaign delivery and prevents manual intervention.

Media Budget Requirements
The left-side information panel in the application summarizes key points:
- Top-Up Options: Choose manual or automatic top-ups to manage your media balance.
- Minimum Threshold: Auto top-up must cover at least 3 days of your total daily campaign budgets.
- Auto Top-Up Required: For continuous campaigns, auto top-up must remain enabled.
- Balance Protection: Campaigns pause automatically if your balance falls below the required threshold.
Best Practice
To avoid campaign interruption and lost visibility, always keep Auto Top-up enabled. Manual top-ups are suitable for testing or short-term campaigns, but automation provides the safest, most reliable experience.
Managing your top-ups properly ensures smooth campaign delivery, accurate billing, and no downtime — keeping your ads visible and effective at all times.
