Introduction to Brands

What Are Brands in Ctrl+A?

In Ctrl+A, every Business Account can contain one or more Brands.

A Brand represents a specific business entity, store location, or product line — for example:

  • A local bakery with multiple shops
  • An agency managing marketing for several clients
  • An online retailer running separate campaigns for different product lines

Each brand has its own data context — including campaigns, analytics, and media budgets. This allows you to clearly separate activities and performance metrics between different business units.

Default Brand Creation During Onboarding

When you first complete your Business Account Setup, Ctrl+A automatically creates a default brand.

This default brand uses your company name, address, and logo provided during onboarding.

Example:

  • Company name: My Company LLC
  • Default brand name: My Company LLC
  • Address: Taken from the business account setup
  • Logo: The one uploaded during onboarding

This ensures you can start campaign creation immediately without additional configuration.

Why Brands Matter

Every campaign in Ctrl+A belongs to a specific brand.

That means:

  • Campaign creation always happens within the selected brand
  • Analytics data and performance reports are brand-specific
  • Budgets, connected ad accounts, and targeting settings are isolated per brand

This structure is particularly useful if you:

  • Manage several locations or business divisions
  • Work as a small agency serving multiple clients
  • Sell different types of products that require distinct marketing strategies

Switching Between Brands

You can switch brands anytime using the brand selector in the sidebar.

When you change the active brand:

  • The entire dashboard updates — including campaigns, analytics, and settings.
  • Any new campaign will automatically belong to the selected brand.

This keeps your workspace clean, organized, and focused on the right business entity.

Key Takeaway

Brands define the structure of your Ctrl+A workspace.

Each brand acts as a self-contained marketing environment with its own campaigns, analytics, and connected accounts.

Your default brand is ready from the start — and as your business grows, you can add more brands anytime to match your organization’s structure.
