# How do I connect my Google and Meta (Facebook & Instagram) accounts?

# How do I connect my Google and Meta (Facebook & Instagram) accounts?

Connecting your Google and Meta accounts enables Ctrl+A to publish and manage your ads automatically across multiple channels. The process is handled securely through Google and Meta authentication — Ctrl+A never stores your login data or credentials.

## Step 1 — Select Your Brand

Each campaign in Ctrl+A belongs to a **Brand**.
Go to the **Brands** section in your dashboard and select the brand you want to connect.
Then click the **eye icon** to open the brand details.

## Step 2 — Open the “Connect Account” Tab

Inside your brand view, switch to the **Connect Account** tab.
This is where you can connect your **Google** and **Meta (Facebook & Instagram)** assets.

## Step 3 — Connecting Google

Click **Sign in with Google** and follow Google’s secure authentication flow.
You will see a list of Google assets that Ctrl+A can use:

* **Google Ads Account** *(optional — if not shared, Ctrl+A uses its managed accounts)*
* **Google Business Profile** *(recommended if available, improves local visibility)*
* **Google Analytics 4 (GA4)** *(optional)*
* **YouTube Channel** *(optional)*

You can choose which assets to share access to. Even if you don’t share any, you can still run full Google campaigns using Ctrl+A’s managed ad accounts.

## Step 4 — Connecting Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

Click **Connect Facebook** and sign in to your Facebook account when prompted.
You will see a list of assets you have access to. You can choose which ones to share, but the following are **mandatory** to create campaigns on Meta platforms:

* A **Facebook Page**
* The **Instagram Account** linked to that Page

Optional but recommended Meta assets:

* **Meta Ad Account** *(if not shared, Ctrl+A uses its managed accounts)*
* **Facebook Pixel** *(optional, improves performance tracking)*

This setup ensures your ads are correctly linked to your business identity while maintaining full control over what you share.

## Step 5 — Review Connected Accounts

Once you’ve finished connecting Google and Meta, open the **Connected Accounts** tab.
Here you can review:

* Which assets are connected
* Connection status (Active or Inactive)
* Default ad accounts used by Ctrl+A

You can disconnect or reconnect accounts at any time.

## Summary

To run campaigns, you must connect your **Facebook Page** and **Instagram Account**. Sharing your **Google Business Profile** is strongly recommended but not mandatory.
All other assets — such as Ad Accounts, GA4, or Pixels — are optional. Ctrl+A will use its managed accounts if you don’t share yours.
The process is fully secure, and you remain in control of which assets you grant access to.
