Connecting Ad Accounts and Assets to Your Brand

Connecting Ad Accounts and Assets to Your Brand

Why Connecting Ad Accounts Matters

To run campaigns with Ctrl+A, each Brand must be connected to at least one advertising platform — such as Google or Meta (Facebook & Instagram).

However, specific assets are required depending on the platform:

  • To create Facebook or Instagram campaigns, you must connect at minimum a Facebook Page and an Instagram Account.

These connections allow Ctrl+A to automatically generate, publish, and optimize your campaigns across platforms — while ensuring that ad delivery, tracking, and analytics function correctly.

Connecting your accounts also ensures:

  • Seamless ad creation and publishing across channels
  • Transparent budget tracking and billing
  • Centralized analytics in your Ctrl+A dashboard

How Billing Works

There are two possible billing setups, depending on whether you share your own ad accounts or not:

  1. You share your ad accounts (Google or Meta)

→ The campaign media budget is billed directly by Google or Meta to your own account.

→ Ctrl+A charges only the subscription and service fees.

  1. You don’t share ad accounts

→ Ctrl+A uses its own managed ad accounts.

→ The campaign media budget is charged via your Ctrl+A business account balance, using the credit system and auto top-ups.

This flexibility ensures that even small or very small businesses can start advertising immediately — without the complexity of ad account setup.

Step-by-Step: Connecting Your Ad Accounts

1. Select a Brand

Navigate to Brands in the sidebar and select the brand you want to connect. Then click the eye icon (view) to open its details.

2. Open the “Connect Account” Tab

In the brand detail view, go to the Connect Account tab. Here, you can connect both Google and Meta assets.

3. Connect Your Google Accounts

Click Sign in with Google and follow the secure authentication flow.

You can share any of the following assets:

  • Google Ads Account
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Property
  • Google Business Profile
  • YouTube Channel

After signing in, select the assets you want Ctrl+A to access. This enables campaign creation, analytics tracking, and reporting.

4. Connect Your Meta Accounts

Below the Google section, click Connect Facebook.

Log in with your Facebook credentials and select the assets to share:

  • Meta Ad Account
  • Facebook Page
  • Instagram Account
  • Meta Pixel

Once connected, these assets become available for campaign creation and optimization.

5. Verify Your Connected Accounts

After completing both connections, open the Connected Accounts tab to view all shared assets.

Here, you’ll see details such as:

  • Asset name and ID
  • Connection status (Active)
  • Default settings (e.g., which ad account is used by default)

Managing Multiple Accounts

If you manage multiple ad accounts or pages, you can set one as Default for your brand.

This ensures new campaigns automatically use the correct ad account and assets.

You can change defaults anytime in the Connected Accounts tab.

Key Takeaway

Connecting your Google and Meta assets ensures full automation and transparency in campaign management.

Whether you use your own ad accounts or rely on Ctrl+A’s managed accounts, you maintain full control over your data, spend, and performance — all within one platform.
