Can I run ads only on Instagram or only on Google?
Can I run ads only on Instagram or only on Google?
Yes — Ctrl+A gives you full flexibility to decide where your ads run. During the campaign creation process, in the Targeting step, you can choose exactly which platforms you want to use for your campaign.
Selecting Advertising Channels
In the Targeting section, you’ll see a list of available platforms such as:
- Google Search
- Google Display Network (GDN)
- YouTube
You can freely select one or multiple platforms depending on your goals. For example:
- Run ads only on Instagram to boost local visibility or engagement.
- Run ads only on Google Search to drive traffic from people actively looking for your services.
- Combine multiple channels for broader reach and better performance optimization.

Channel Availability Depends on Account Connections
Your available ad channels depend on which accounts are connected to your Brand:
- If you connect your Facebook Page (and its linked Instagram account), you can run ads on Facebook and Instagram.
- If you don’t connect your Facebook Page, you can only use Google channels (Google Search, GDN, and YouTube).
Ctrl+A automatically detects which ad platforms are available based on your connected accounts, and disables any that can’t be used.
Example
If you’ve only connected your Facebook Page and not Google, you can still run ads on Facebook and Instagram.
If you haven’t connected any Meta accounts, your campaign can still run across Google Search, GDN, and YouTube.
Summary
Yes, you can run ads only on Instagram or only on Google.
In the campaign targeting step, simply select the platforms you want to advertise on — Ctrl+A adapts automatically to your connected ad accounts to make sure your ads run smoothly on the channels you choose.
